Installed coverage is less than nominal roll area because of overlaps, returns, cuts, and waste. Physical properties are manufacturer-declared values reproduced in the technical package.
Installation Overview
Follow the approved project details and the complete installation instructions in the PDF package.
- Prepare the backing. Use a clean, dry, smooth surface compatible with the adhesive and assembly.
- Overlap and connect. Overlap adjoining sheets at least 6 inches. Extend wall membrane 12 inches onto the floor and ceiling as detailed in the guide.
- Seal the seams. Center the specified conductive-adhesive tape over exposed lap edges and press firmly across the full tape width.
- Complete the enclosure. Coordinate corners, penetrations, shielded components, bonding, grounding, and inspection before concealment.
Accessory selection: The guide lists 3M 3302 or 3M 1170 conductive seam tape and 3M Super 77 attachment adhesive, subject to project approval and substrate compatibility.
Measured results apply to tested samples. Completed-enclosure performance depends on the full design, installation, interfaces, and project acceptance testing.
